Circles of Hope by Peace Connections Peace Connections is a community-based non-profit that began humbly and heartfully in 1983 as the Newton Area Peace Center and opened its first office above Druber's Donut Shop in downtown Newton, Kansas, a Midwestern town of just over 18,000 residents. Peace Connections recognizes the relationship between poverty and peace and works to develop resources, educate our community and inspire change. Our major investments in this focus area are Circles of Hope and the Summer Enrichment Activities program for kids 6-10. |

Community Playschool Community Playschool, Inc. is a preschool for children 2 ½ to 5 years of age. First preference for enrollment is given to families who cannot attend other preschools because of limited finances, one parent families, and those with special needs not met elsewhere. Fees are based on a sliding scale. |

Safehope, Inc. Safehope, based in Newton, KS, provides advocacy and support to all survivors , and secondary victims of domestic and sexual violence, and stalking in Harvey, Marion and McPherson counties. Safehope creates a safe environment for survivors to understand the resources and options available to them and get support as they begin to heal from the trauma. Our services are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. |

Trinity Heights Respite Care Trinity Heights Respite Care serves families who have children (age 0-16) with special needs. Families in Harvey or Marion Counties may qualify for services. Following the example set by the American with Disabilities Act, our definition of “disability” is broad-based and includes, among others, physical, learning, sensory and cognitive disabilities.

Wichita Children's Home The Wichita Children’s Home is always open to those who need us: children who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, trafficked or left homeless.
